Started self-help CBT today. Made myself cry. Reckon I’m a pretty good therapist to be fair. Fucking proud of the journey I’m currently on.
Also, we’re a weekend away from making it to the Ber months! Those who struggle in the heat, our time is coming!

Really enjoyed The Thursday Murder Club. The first half is hilarious. Genuinely laugh out loud moments. Helen Mirren and Celia Imrie are just a delight. The ending is a bit abrupt, and there’s things that I don’t think happen in the book, but that was a thoroughly enjoyable evenings entertainment.

Went for an early walk this morning before the inevitable storms arrive. As plans have altered quite a bit, it’s time to be a little bit selfish and do some stuff I want to do for the next couple of days. Hopefully the planning and creative parts of my brain agree with this, and each other.

Decided on an earlier walk today due to a bit of a crappy early afternoon. Started with the same face as this dude but ended it much happier. The rain looks like it’s on its way so it may be time to find a plan b for walking on the worst days.

Bank Holiday weekend working is done. That felt like a very long one! But now 4 days off. Lots of things to plan, minimal things to actually do, no appointments booked at any hospitals (although that’s not guaranteed). Let’s see if I can remember what it’s like to be free for a few days

These night walks are getting darker. We’ve nearly reached the Ber months!!! Also feeling proud of myself this evening because I’ve officially lost one whole fucking Stone since the start of June 💪

2) I am the only one there from midday today until Monday evening

Very energetic and sporty day today, which has knackered me out, but it was fun to play Foot Pool and then get on the monthly leaderboard at the mini golf…fuming I was only 3rd though 😂

Tonight’s little self-care wander. Made some friends. I say friends…those looks suggest that they didn’t want to talk so I kept walking. Back to work tomorrow. The plan is to survive until Tuesday afternoon and then have a couple of awesome days out.

Year 2 is done! Very proud of myself right now.
Also, despite it being one of my lower marks, I’m delighted with 62 for the first part of this module because this has been a seriously tough summer, and it’s still a 2:1. Wasn’t expecting that back so soon but it’s helped my mood!

Uni work is nearly done…because I can’t physically give any more to it and I’m too excited now to do anything else.

My brain went for the complete and utter destruction option for the last hour of being awake last night, a mixture of tiredness and overthinking, but we have a few hours this morning to finish this Uni assignment and then that’s it for 6 weeks. Let’s fucking go!
2nd Hospital visit of the week done. Now 24 hours to get this Uni shit finished, then 3 days of work, and then I’m free to have some fun!
