Because our system has failed us completely. The courts are fighting back but the Supreme Court will do anything he says. They are illegitimate - they all lied during their hearings. This has been a planned fascist takeover for decades. Tell your leaders to speak out against the atrocities!!!

My husband is Canadian so we’ve decided to leave here as soon as we can with the least amount of disruptions. It’s too fucking cold there but I fear for him as a brown person and I’m just so done watching this insanity and trying to pretend it isn’t happening. Canada is a safe, democratic country.

We are surrounded by fascists and what will we do with them after this is over. Germany, Italy and Spain all had to deal with this after fascism fell. Democracy can’t survive in a country where nearly 40% of the population is actively in a mass psychosis! Fascism is always a cult. A death cult.
