It’ll be a reread for me, but I’m really curious how the regular horror book club readers will feel about it! They read Monstrilio last month, which I haven’t read myself and can’t recommend, but was told is incredible.

My friend is a Stephen Graham Jones evangelist, so I would be remiss if I didn’t recommend him on her behalf. And she’s also a huge Cass Khaw fan and makes sure their books are always in stock. I actually read very little horror, but I’ll be joining the book club next month for Frankenstein.

What’ve you been reading? My best friend runs the horror book club at the bookstore where she works and has such a deep knowledge of horror at this point that I’m always curious what other people have discovered.

Episode I definitely holds up better after a viewing of Rise of Skywalker, but it doesn't hold up *that* well. I still wouldn't put it above RotS. Definitely above Rise, though.

Lucas went all in on making the prequels about trade negotiations and the Canto Bight sequence was a really important way to tie together all eight films and people who hated it were wrong.

It goes on my list at #1 tbh, with Empire Strikes Back and The Last Four Episodes of The Clone Wars underneath it at 2 and 3.
