We’re always more emotional just after a game but that’s horrific from a squad with the players we possess.

No doubt they’ll have journalists that write favourable things about them a la Martin Samuel and Man City. Also, we’re in a bit of an echo chamber with regard to social media but I’ve yet to see the same passion about the league being shit this season as we had last season for example.

I’m not sure they’re media darlings. The media are in the selling papers/generating traffic game and Liverpool & Utd do that, Arsenal and the rest don’t. Rage bait sells and if unnamed 30 year old footballer played for us and was offered a new contract in the summer there’d have been more coverage.

They’re the only two players who can say they’ve done enough this season.

Another game where we’ve surrendered a 2-0 lead. Is that 3-4 times we’ve done that? Dom and Ekitike the only ones that can hold their heads up high.

That’s what people think the Anfield crowd does to referees when the reality is they wear it like a badge of honour not caving into the Kop.

Gyokeres has scored 6 goals, with four coming against Ange’s Forest, Leeds and Burnley. He hasn’t received anywhere near the stick Nunez got. Why? Because no one cares enough as it’s not Liverpool/Utd.

My conclusion is people only care about Liverpool and Man Utd. Last seasons shout of worst league ever hasn’t reared its head this year despite worst xpts and 90% of goals coming from set pieces. Refereeing decisions get week long analysis when it’s us/Utd. Anyone else and it’s forgotten by Monday.

I can 100% appreciate that. There’s some excellent Liverpool content out there and I’m just reacting to a couple of sentences that appeared on my TL.

I’ve no idea who said it. I’ve not listened to it, just read the post but if that’s the content that’s been put out it doesn’t really entice me to give up my time to find out more.
