Atleti & the first half vs the Ev aside our performance haven’t been good enough for a team wanting to win the big cups. We’ve conceded 17 in 12 games in all competitions - nearly 1.5 per game. Thats our problem. We’re piss weak in defence & our forwards can’t bail us out every game.

I don’t think one individual is the cause of our problems. Collectively we look brain dead with poor decisions all over the place. Wirtz certainly hasn’t been at the races but then neither has Salah, Isak or Gakpo. You’d like to think a squad full of world class talent will figure it out eventually.

Create next to nothing, look vulnerable in defence, strive for control but never actually possess it, with possession quite sterile and ponderous. It’s all a bit Rodgers-esque and not the 13/14 season.
