I will never use LLM for anything to do with my writing. Even my research is driven by good research practice, not AI. Why would I? I like the work. If you don't like doing the work, ask yourself why you're not actually doing something you do like to do, instead.

Does anyone have a list of tech tools not hopping on the earth- and brain-melting AI bandwagon? Not shockingly SEO doesn’t boost these lists if they do exist

Today we checked out a new to us thrift store and hit the jackpot on holiday decor! Everything except the candy cane (which I crocheted 😅) was found today!

I’m already dreaming of next year’s garden and decided to check out a stack of books from the library! What have you been reading lately?

Native Plants, Healthy Planet podcast is really doing the most for my mental health right now. It’s easy forget there are people out there who care about the planet 🌱

I took some time to update our native seed inventory last night to order some new species from @hungryhookfarm.bsky.social. I said I was going to grow fewer species this year so I’m not going to say how many new seeds we bought 😂

I got honked at today for stopping for a stopped school bus across the road. How on earth do we heal a society that is this self-centered and impatient? It makes me sad for our future

With the rising interest in physical media, be sure to check your local library out for DVDs, CDs, books, and more. It helps us keep those programs going and offers you a chance to use physical media without buying it all outright! #booksky 📚💙

Current (re)read before jumping into Julia Seales’ new book A Terribly Nasty Business 📖

What book are you currently reading to dissociate? 🙃

Hi, can we stop with fireworks yet? Can we realize how scary they are to people and other living beings? Not to mention there is nothing to celebrate in this country at the moment 🙃

Sorry, I'm fully booked July 8-11 (and every other day of the year). I have plans to support my independent bookshop.

I deleted inst@gr@m off my phone and now I’m a new person.

I read more! I workout again! I get less dirty looks from my pets saying they’re cuter than my phone!
Who is she? 💁🏻‍♀️

I finished 12 books in May! After a major reading slump in April, it was nice to find some books I really enjoyed 📚 #booksky @fableapp.bsky.social

The way tech is trying to shove AI down our throats is making me even more disinterested and disdainful.

The more I learn about AI, the more I switch back to pen & paper. I miss my digital tools, but not being able to easily opt out of AI is unacceptable to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Did you know you can go for a walk without looking at your phone or listening to something?
Yay for optimizing, but bigger YAY for existing on this planet.

My peppers are hating the cool/rainy weather, but the columbine is living its best life (and attracting our friendly neighborhood hummingbird!)

Such a good presentation on Homegrown Conservation by @chasingbugs.com tonight with Mt. Cuba. This was a great ending to their Sustainable Landscape series.

Today we’re trying to enjoy a sunny spring-like day and not think about how it should be a lot more cool and rainy and omg we’re already in a drought and what’s this going to mean going into summer it’s all over 🙃
