Here I react to the shameful encounter between American leaders and media and the Ukrainian president. No doubt there were more, but I saw five failures on our side: of hospitality, decency, democracy, strategy, and independence. Please watch and share.

Had to share:
We know that all matter (either in the form of solid, liquid, or gas) is made up of particles, and that the distance between these particles depends on the form the matter takes.

What we don't know is which one of them is the Ross.

Seven years ago today was the worst day of my life. On that day, a 19-year-old who never should’ve had access to a gun in the first place entered my high school with an AR-15 and took the lives of 17 students and faculty members and injured 17 others.

7 years go and it seems like a lifetime has passed and like it was just yesterday still. Please remember that in every single on of these shootings the victims are human beings with families, friends and loved ones. They are not numbers. Time passes but the pain doesn't.

"The attempted renaming of the Gulf of Mexico is a fitting memorial to the Trump era. Trump’s act of imperial boastfulness unwittingly reveals a disquieting self-awareness of imperial decline. As so often, Trump claims to be a winner while acting like a loser."

This is a sigh of relief for millions of people who have been in limbo over the last twenty-four hours as the result of the Trump Administration’s callous attempt to wholesale shutter federal assistance and grant programs that people across this country rely on. (Continued in thread)

“While I still don’t think Bluesky — or any social media app — will ever fully replace the old Twitter, I get what the excitement is about,” our tech columnist @kevinroose.com writes.
Bluesky Is Turning Into a Strong X Alternative
Bluesky has a hint of the old Twitter magic, but the feeling of freedom it offers might be even better.
