In 1890, the X and Y chromosomes were discovered. It was found that the men who were tested had 46 chromosomes, including an X and a Y, while women who were tested also had 46 chromosomes, including 2 X chromosomes.
So obviously the conclusion was that the Y chromosome defined masculinity.

Apart from the obvious question regarding racial profiling, how did they know he was in the application process just before it was about to be granted? I’ve seen the hundreds examples of ICE showing up at Courts to entrap people of colour in mid process.

Just saw this segment. It’s not yet available to share. Anyway, I thought if you were married to a US citizen you had the ability to apply for residency as this man did. I know a lot of white people married to US citizens. None of them have been disappeared from the streets.
