This is 100% not a "woe is Jamie." He'll be fine, as will the shareholders in JPM. But consider literally anyone else similarly facing lawfare from this administration. They also can't rely on biglaw to step up, pro bono or otherwise, and will NOT be fine. Many are in custody right now.

Anytime Hochul occasionally says something correct, keep in mind that she is a creature of Albany, with everything that comes with it (including a willingness to indulge even the most bad faith arguments put forth by companies wishing to make more profits at the expense of others).

I am kidding but seriously who is going to run to beat the eminently beatable Malliotakis? A Levi Strauss heir who lives in Manhattan? I can't imagine a less appealing democrat to run in Staten Island, where how long you've lived there determines whether you get to have an opinion about policy.
