Just checked again: the calendar was updated at some point to reflect a hearing at 1:30pm

They are never, ever going to win in Minnesota.

Just a reminder that the program that formalized the bona fide news exception to Section 315 and the equal time rules was Howard Stern's syndicated radio program.

Yes, really.

So all Brendan is doing here is trying to regulate more content that he hates, otherwise known as a day that ends in Y.

Yes, and please understand this weekend is likely to be the tipping point.

Every POS racist social media personality and all of their incel followers (the ones not already hired by ICE) are coming to town for a Pro-ICE rally on Saturday.

And we'll be opposing them...with our January weather.

At this point, they're basically the band on the Titanic.

Not huge news to anyone but me, but my first textbook is finally in print:

I haven't always seen completely eye to eye with @freepress.bsky.social, but we're usually on the same city block at least.

But the idea that people (like me for example) haven't been screaming about Brendan Carr's plans for censorship for years extends that block party we attend together a mile.

I'll let the data speak for itself.

I'd just like to say as the OG Member of the Brendan Carr Sucks Club, its great to see everybody finally showing up at the party I've been throwing for the last 2962 days.

Welcome.

I really don't think we're talking about this paragraph enough:

Here's the summary from the decision.

There's only one correct answer.
July 11, 2025 at 10:30 PM
The FCC finally responded to my Feb 1st FOIA about Carr's attack letter to NPR. Most was redacted, and I'm sure some things were left out, but there was this curious email exchange as the letter was being prepared.

Not sure what to make of it. Maybe if the rest of the email chain had been included?

I woke up today thinking on FSC v. Paxton, and some part of my brain went to this paragraph.

Is this just rhetorical flair, or is Thomas calling Pornhub a "publisher" here?

And if they are a publisher, was there part of this decision, in draft form that also asked questions about §230?

Pages 26-27.

Basically the internet is faster, video streams to phones and more people use it and..."The Court in Reno and Ashcroft II could not have conceived of these developments, much less conclusively resolve how States could address them"

I wonder if the discussion to overturn Reno occurred, but couldn't get the votes:
