The city failed us. Went out again today and nothing has changed other than the slush is now ice. Ride in the road, friends. It’s the only safe option.

They will eventually get to some of the separated bike lanes here, but people on bikes aren’t considered as important as drivers despite every car commercial bragging about how their vehicles can drive over anything.

The Scuttlebutt was my go to. I make a vegan version of it on occasion.

You could wake up the next morning and grab a sandwich at Saltie or eat your body weight at the Lodge while drinking your second Bloody Mary.

The majority of these cars has someone inside scrolling through their phone. No joke. It’s weird.

It depends on the street and the weather. Any hint of rain or cold and the bike lanes are full of cars. The NYPD’s refusal to ticket these people is the actual problem. They all know that parking like this won’t lead to a ticket, so they don’t care.

Love riding over this bridge because the lane is super wide, the incline isn’t very steep and no matter what time of day it is cars are stuck in a long line of traffic.
