American in the UK, here for cat pictures and fun. Oh and I play an inordinate amount of Pokémon Go.
If being a color coded book pervert is wrong, I don't wanna be right!

The #Geminid meteor shower peaks tonight. Forecast in SE England is (for the first time in several years) clear. Cannot wait!

Something not quite right here. 828 service is the first to depart, prior to the (supposedly) on time 816? I feel a platform shuffle coming on.

I'm on a service heading towards Ashford that was held at Dover awaiting a driver. Is there any way that the 356 departure from Ashford to Charing can be held 30 seconds to let us scoot from platform 1 to 2 to catch it? Otherwise that's another hour to wait.

The whole FIFA Peace Prize situation reminds me of how care homes give baby doll toys to people with dementia to keep them calmer and less combative.

When I am in the rare position of having extra cranberry sauce, I make glazed sausages.

In the UK a Christmas Day walk after dinner is a sacred tradition.
Imagine posing for a photographer friend who sells your image to iStock and a year later, you see this is what The Washington Post has done with the image of you walking on a beautiful fall day

Mine is the use of "that" when it should be "who". When talking about living beings, use who. Use that when talking about objects.
Pet hate. "Fazed" is not the same as "phased".

The UK has #DogsAtPollingStations

Is there a similar movement in the US? Dogs, cats, kids, anything photogenic at polling stations?

I vote absentee from overseas, so I miss out on the in-person experience!

My fellow Americans, please take a moment to #vote today. I did my absentee ballot last week.

How in the everloving hell is this not a gross violation of the Hatch Act?!

This partisan paragraph of absolute lies is on an official U.S. government website. I am incandescent with rage.
