I work at a huge (thousands of students) and diverse high school, and I share an office wall with the College & Career counselor who is responsible for scheduling the recruiters. It is not going to be a fun ride.

Update to the update: bought a rainbow Santisima Muerte candle at the goth coffee shop the next town over.

Update: the Mr. Rogers novena candle, on the other hand, technically is staying lit, but I had to pour some wax out to facilitate that because the wick was so off-center.

I own this sticker but it is magnet-ed above my desk at home. I did live and work on a barrier island for my first professional job and those were indeed tough times, so it does have some individual meaning for me!

To be clear, the blackeyed pea recipe I use contains Ro-Tel, so it does have jalapeños regardless since they are in the Ro-Tel! The peas were really good this time, but I dunno if that was due to the pepperoncini or just synergy in general.

The spoiler randomly started coming off my car while I was driving (car was old but spoiler came off due to a bad body shop) to my dog's vet appointment. I exited the road, and a stranger's car pulled over close to mine in the parking lot, and she tossed me a roll of duct tape. Made it to the vet.
