Boring grown-up problems: I added "grape tomatoes" & "red bell pepper" to my huge holiday-week grocery list a few days ago, but today I couldn't determine why, even after checking the history of my home/work laptops, & phone. Would only have done so for an actual recipe, so just crossed them out :/

I was in the touristy part of my town, at a general store I'd never been to before, buying fancy mustard for an online gift swap (I know, exciting life!), and an older woman walked in with a schipperke on a leash... my schipperke passed away 2 years ago, & they basically all look exactly the same.

Thankful that I was able to get a COVID vaccine today; it'd been a little over a year because I got COVID (for the 3rd time) about 6 months ago and didn't want to get vaccinated again right after.

Oh dear... honestly, I want a toasted sesame bagel with butter and peanut butter (butter first and then peanut butter on top of that).
Tell me your bagel order and I will tell you *based on NYC cultural expectations* if you have won or lost your election for political office in NYC.
One of my favorite things about NYC is whenever anyone runs for office here they are required to disclose their bagel order.

At work today I was happy that the folks who don't usually ask me to order/eat lunch with them asked me, and I even had time to eat w/them. But then they mostly talked shit about 2 of my other co-workers during lunch, so wow, the things they must say about me when I'm not there (I'm really weird)!
