Oh absolutely, there's systemic abuse in foster homes too. The horror stories I've heard while growing up were horrible, i got lucky even with the way my family is.

i hate when people say im lazy or don't work hard. i clawed my way off the street all by myself. doing things that just retraumatized me, that put me in dangwr, but what i had to do to live, working my way up 18 hours a day for years and years just to even make it this far.
