In the early 2000s, DC Comics had a storyline in which Lex Luthor was elected president of the US. At the time, I thought the idea was preposterous. In retrospect, Lex could’ve made the Legion of Doom his cabinet picks and it still couldn’t have predicted the ridiculousness of this moment.

It’s bad enough to lose your livelihood, but to also have the online digital record of your work erased at the same time, without warning, is personally and professionally devastating. My condolences to the staff.

Weird thought - Growing up GenX, we had older celebrities who cosplayed their most famous characters for public appearances (Clayton Moore as The Lone Ranger, Bob Denver as Gilligan, Donna Douglas as Elly May, Jimmy Walker as JJ).

Do any modern celebrities still do this?
