Cuomo driving around a white bronco on the day he (hopefully) gets run out of town feels a little on the nose

They were laying some of the lines yesterday. This bike lane is going to be awesome.

It sucks that the history of endurance sport makes it such that thoughts like this come up when someone is so dominant but stewing on it too much sucks the fun out of watching these guys ride around.

“Do you condemn Mikel Arteta’s recent statement claiming Arsenal are the rightful winners of the past 3 premier leagues?”

Just wait til the dem establishment pivots to attacking him for supporting Arsenal

Fast and free buses! The proposal is both, and I imagine he’ll have a simpler path to making them fast
June 27, 2025 at 10:17 AM
Everyone always touts the bus proposal as promising “free buses” but missing out on the “fast and…” part of it. He might not have as much power to make the buses free but any mayor has a ton of (easy and sort of cheap) opportunities to make buses fast.

I haven’t spent the time backing up the theory with actual results/data but from a vibes perspective and broadly, it’s been very true

I have a long running theory that the (Cincinnati) Reds and (Liverpool) Reds can’t both be good at the same time. The One True Reds theory.

I think today was punishment for Mark Sheldon skeeting about Liverpool.

Hopefully as the squad gets reshaped into his team we see a little more intensity throughout the whole season. But also it’s hard to say this hasn’t worked this year, so maybe not.

It feels pretty clear that Arne does this by design, where the intensity only gets turned up if absolutely needed.

It feels like such a tough gamble. Seems like it works more than it doesn’t but definitely bit us at Goodison and nearly did yesterday.

It’s so frustrating how hard it seems to be for pro athletes to be public with things like this.

The general state of Letsrun doesn’t give me the most hope but it’d be nice if T&F could offer a safe space for this in the pro sports landscape.
