Leonardo Bürgi’s first institutional exhibition at Kunsthaus Baselland is impressive for many great reasons. It feels so great that he studied with us, not because of pride or prestige but because of the emotional amazing connection we feel with the work and seeing this happening.

Should one start talking about art and culture these days? I will. I met anthropologists Svetlana Slapšak in Ljubljana and our conversation on fiction as a language that helps to understand the re-lapses into the past truly impacted me. Only one of her books is translated. Her writing is mesmerizing
