Even worse than the DS game, very little player interaction and it always felt pretty low effort but in-game features breaking later on, a repetitive loop of events, and promised collabs never happening make it an absolute waste

Massive step up from volume 1, Xie Lian is a fantastic MC and the Gilded Banquet lore hurts so bad. The Xie Lian/Qianqiu dynamic is so tragic and this arc definitely stuck with me

Chilling theater rewatch that remains fascinating both as a thriller and commentary on idol/showbiz culture. It's neat seeing the foreshadowing cues on a rewatch and I think a lot about the tragedy around the culprit and how that ties into the main story

Good portrayal of grief and regret but a bit too short for the characters to leave a strong impression on me, definitely worth reading though!

Enjoyable followup to School-Live that gives a bit more closure. I forgot a decent amount since I read the main manga a while ago, but it was still nice to see the characters again and get just a bit more of this series

Some implications closer to the end I'm ambivalent about but otherwise I really like the introspection on life and regrets, pretty quick but very emotional and thoughtful read

Pretty heartfelt read, I just read part 1 so definitely still the early stages but I'm interested in reading more and seeing what else happens with the characters!

Well it definitely is exactly what it says on the tin 😭

It's an okay start to the series but definitely on the slower end, didn't leave a huge impression on me on its own

Heartfelt story of a group of boys bonding through their mutual struggle and plight despite knowing only one can make it. I'm still ambivalent about the ending, but the journey really speaks to the bleak competitiveness of society

Incredibly fun theater rewatch, I love the story's exploration of legacy and the way the song motifs continuously build upon and recontextualize each other. Gave me a lot to chew on with the political landscape being what it is now
