if you have access to someone who knows Hungarian movies ask them to explain "We interned the ticket collector – he's responsible for the whole incident. The ticket collector's mother was a kulak mill owner's mistress". I can't stop laughing. The quote is from a satire of the Stalinist era.

Not to mention Cole admits she still suffers from gender dysphoria. Choosing not to treat your own headaches doesn't mean you get to ban Tylenol.

“The existence of even one ex gay dismantles the central lie of homosexuality, that it is an innate characteristic from birth and therefore should have human rights awarded to it.”

Same shit different era.
Chloe Cole: The existence of even one detransitioner dismantles the central lie of transgenderism, that it is an innate characteristic from birth and therefore should have human rights awarded to it.
I never understood this. They are your child. It was your decision to bring them into this world. How can you not accept them?

1. In a devastating new Pew Research Survey, only 3 in 10 transgender adults report being accepted by their parents.

And only 1 in 10 say they are accepted by their extended family.

This is the lowest number ever found in surveys asking similar questions.

Pew Survey: Only 31% Of Trans People Report Being Accepted By Their Parents
The survey comes as transgender people experience a legal assault from the far-right in the United States.

yeah, i dunno, OVH opened their data center in Beauharnois at the site of an old alu plant directly next a hydro plant and basically run the river through the DC to cool it. But I guess that's just dumb French engineering and OpenAI is so much more brilliant.

My professional timeline right now is made up of four distinct silos wrt the principal global threat/challenge we face, in roughly this order:

1. AI

2. Russia

3. China

4. Climate

I'd reverse the order and eliminate the silos.

But most notably, Trump II has no plan for dealing with any of them.
Let's just say it's mighty odd the official atproto site leads the FAQ with this. atproto.com/guides/faq

The only serious looking site ever to link atproto to blockchain is associationofresearch.org/a-world-with... but see lisaamartin.wordpress.com/2015/02/08/o... about that site.
I must respectfully disagree: we should ban AI. Doctorow called it the asbestos we shovel into the walls of society -- and we banned asbestos because it harmed people. We banned CFCs because they harmed the environment. AI harms both. Ban it.
*facepalm*

Pam Bondi has asked Do you have a law degree, Senator Schiff?

He does. Harvard Law School cum laude in 1985.
It costs less than ten dollars to get a third party replacement for that Samsung remote, I just did. Please test and report back how long it takes for Stewie to produce ten dollars worth of happiness. Won't take more than a minute.
The New York Times managed to hit a new low "Fire Consumes the Home of a South Carolina State Judge" which is really something for them. "Mistakes were made", eh?

the hardest part of living in Portland is having your house burn down every single night and then having to rebuild it during the day. the amount of money i spend just in drywall is insane.

Trump: Portland is burning to the ground—insurrectionists all over the place. The politicians are afraid for their lives. That’s the only reason they say there’s nothing happening.
OpenAI has now promised $1T in purchases in deals with AMD, Nvidia, and Oracle.

OpenAI has raised $57.9B so far.

OpenAI is neither profitable nor does it have any route to be profitable.

all these trans people are interfering with the site's original goal: synergizing ai and the blockchain by optimizing decentralized technologies to disrupt the social media microblogosphere 3.0
BlueSky biggest contribution so far is moving towards an addendum to "Unmoderated spaces turn into a nazi bar quickly" namely "Badly moderated spaces also turn into a nazi bar just slower".
You forgot a couple fascist billionaires behind it all. Thiel and Andreessen most importantly.

And I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords thoughtleaders. I'd like to remind them as a trusted TV personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves, reading on Adderall non-linear their metareviews from the middle letter jumping to the end letter.
VDV are glorified thugs anyways, they were showy but nowhere near what real special forces can do...
As a redeeming quality (is it??), I use Win10+WSL locally. Pure Linux, of course, on all servers.
Mastodon is what happens when web developers look at the long history of Linux and make a careful note of every botched decision not leading to mainstream Linux ("Year of Linux on the desktop") and make sure to include all of them. (I pay for my own Mastodon instance. But I also use Linux so...)
