Go is my favorite technology since discovering Linux in the 90s.
And for similar reasons: it's wildly powerful, open, and yet fundamentally simple.
It's a miracle that its KISS ethos have been maintained for 15 years. No successful language since C has managed this.

my theory, ignoring the fact that poverty, homelessness, destitution, etc are still very real problems, is that many people were happier during the pandemic because they weren’t working
Which is more amazing: the fact that America has vastly outperformed other advanced economies without higher inflation, or the fact that Biden gets no credit?

these guys are all too preoccupied by culture wars to be meaningfully involved in building new technology. what they represent, instead, is a style of business management that resembles Trump’s own approach to governance.
