Today we look at Oregon, where just two years ago, a man on death row was exonerated.

American Indian and Alaskan Native residents are imprisoned at over 4x the rate of white residents. Oregon does not charge incarcerated folks for medical co-pays. 13% Black Exonerees 41% involved faulty forensic science Black residents are imprisoned at over 5x the rate of white residents. 13,000 people are in Oregon state prisons. The State of Texas planned to execute Robert Roberson today for a crime that never occurred. But last week, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals sent his case back to the trial court and we are incredibly grateful. 1/2

Lance Shockley is set to be executed tonight in Missouri. Last week, the Missouri Supreme Court denied a stay of execution, and yesterday, Governor Kehoe denied clemency. Shockley maintains his innocence in a case with no forensic evidence linking him to the crime. 1/2
