So glad this passed - by a vote of 76 to 20, the United States Senate passed the Social Security Fairness Act early Saturday morning – bipartisan legislation to eliminate the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and Government Pension Offset (GPO). Great benefit for firefighters who paid into SS.

At least the grocery store wasn’t crowded this morning. Unfortunately all they had was frozen turkeys so I had to go with that. It’s raining like crazy so I decided to set up inside. Not sure how I am going to spatchcock this frozen bird and I do love to spatchcock.
