I really believe that huge majorities of Americans don’t want masked soldiers shooting priests in the street. They don’t want naked children ripped out out of their apartments in the middle of the night and handcuffed. We win by making sure these stories get told.

given that being banned on Bluesky means you can't be seen by users of the separate instance *that hosts you*, it kind of does seem like central moderation overrides everything here? otherwise his account would just keep existing on blacksky and Blueskyers just wouldn't see it

for all their talk, every Democrat is hoping that they can just sort of wait out this escalation so they don't have to expose any of the giant contradictions and smokescreens of institutional power (federal supremacy, lack of power over state police / guard forces, etc etc)

The Senate didn't confirm him. He's just a guy.

At some point, the states MUST use their authority to prosecute, because the federal government certainly will not.

Portland and Oregon law enforcement, at the direction of local leaders, have refused to aid ICE officers facing relentless terrorist assault and threats to life. (There are more local law enforcement officers in Oregon than there are guns and badges in the FBI nationwide). This is an organized terrorist attack on the federal government and its officers, and the deployment of troops is an absolute necessity to defend our personnel, our laws, our government, public order and the Republic itself.
