Dog mom, bundle of nerves, hostile ball of yarn
Opening BlueSky because my Threads account got suspended and they refuse to tell me why. Sigh.

I’m fully vaccinated for measles and I still want a booster, because damn. I have the immune system of a shoujo manga heroine and I don’t want to risk it, especially if I have to drive back to San Antonio in a few days.

When I bring up how some of these EO’s can potentially impact my job, my Trump-supporting family is nowhere to be seen. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Being grotesquely rich is not enough is it? He can’t go fuck off to private island and leave everyone else alone?

Well the house I wanted went under contract the night I looked at it. I guess it wasn’t meant to be.

Oh my gosh I think I found a house I want. I love it. It’s cute, charming, a mix of old and modern, in my price range, and has a yard for Bucky.

I’m going to look at five houses tomorrow. I’m a first-time homebuyer and while these aren’t ideal times for home buying, I feel like it’s only going to get worse.

When your relatives start arguing at Thanksgiving, calmly grab your favorite serving bowl of food like you're going to the kitchen to refill it, and just don't come back. Quietly escape with your favorite food.

I miss my dog. He’s fine, he just chooses to sleep with my sister and BIL when they’re visiting.

I want another tattoo but I also want to pay off more debts. And I also need a new phone. And I want to get my family nice things for Christmas.

I took most of this week off from work and it’s been pretty nice. I’m not doing a whole lot. Just spending time with my sister and bil who are visiting.

Heyyy I’d like to add more folks to follow. I’m in San Antonio, TX and I love coffee, art, and my dog.

Express Scripts denied coverage for a new medicine and then tried to recommend covered meds that have not worked for me in the past.

San Antonio is so lucky in that we get to experience the annular solar eclipse today and the total solar eclipse in April. What’s the difference? Today’s will get Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire” stuck in your head and April’s will get Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart.”

Ok three rounds of wiping his ears and a session of drops he’s back to being fast asleep up against my butt.

My poor dog seems to have picked up ear mites in his left ear. We’ve been treating it throughout the week with wipes and drops but it’s been about a week with no improvement. We may need to go to the vet this week.

Then it’s not disposable income
Gen Z is putting more disposable income toward debts than other Americans because of higher borrowing costs, slowing wage growth, student loans and more. Experts worry could it derail their intentions to buy homes and save for retirement.

I found this old pic a coworker made and I can’t remember the context for any of it. What a fever dream 2018 was.

And of course, one of my first posts is a “look at my dog!!” post.
