Eremophila maculata buds on the bush growing in zone 9B outside of Phoenix. Also called Spotted Emu Bush, this is a popular choice for arid regions with flowers that bloom from winter to spring. lavender star flower opens up upon a cross vine my favorite bisexual plant, a lavender star flower, in the process of opening with two of its purplepink colored sepals fully extended and several more yet to completely open and none of its petals actually open yet with its interior golden spray poking out from the top, mostly because that was news to me after having all kinds of questions about reproduction with this plant , a cross vine, in particular. it has some fascinating components and is highly attractive to many pollinators, especially hummingbirds who will pierce this flower before it is fully open to nurse themselves on the nectar within A passion flower vine, passaflora edulis, which is not blooming yet, on account of it being January in zone 9B. the summer of 25 almost fully killed the vine, which is now back in three segments, reflected upon a 5 ft block wall and underneath and adjacent to a Honey Mesquite tree. tested out a new shade of lipstick and coral and have found my actual color for this shade of skin and hair. jokes on me because I have given up my $40 lipstick from Nars well I wouldn't actually pay the new price and have returned to my OG from 50 years ago which is covergirl and they have a lovely line for older skin priced at Five actual dollars and change.

I get a similar though less expressive face, from my LunaDog when I attempt to put her harness on before taking her for a car ride. Her facial expression is such that it's as if I am imposing something deeply unpleasant upon her;never fails to get me.

thoughtfully potted before leaving, by the person who purchased it at the local worm farm before leaving for a month, this vibrant yellow marigold is almost fully open as of magic hour last evening. it is not a real marigold I have never tasted one probably among my favorite newer plants is this emu bush with what I perceive as red Lippie pencil top shaped blooms. it has pretty blue green fernlike branches and leaves, it begins to smell really good kind of Australian I might say? IDK it smells nice and subtle and alive and it looks so pretty in the desert and it is in fact from the desert potted yellow calla lily plant, known botanically as Zantedeschia. Calla lilies feature unique, trumpet-shaped flowers (spathes) and lush green foliage. They grow from rhizomes and are not true lilies. They can be grown in containers and thrive in full sun to partial shade. Luna dog and I had been watching this sunrise through the window but when I was done with her ran out to grab the tail end of a Sonoran Desert suburban sunrise. it appears as if my neighbours moved in, IDK but that little house across the street is a half a million dollar house which makes mine next door to a half a million dollar house LOL no they all are all of them including this one if it gets sold slash or demolished, I don't know because it was built in 1976 and the infrastructure is such a mess.

🌱 We had a pop of cold☁️, so are optimistic that residual biting insects will diminish somewhat. Meanwhile, LunaDog has been getting weekly oatmeal and 🍵🌲 oil, doggy shampoo 🛁 baths. Plus other remedies as needed; it is *so much work*.😥 Babygirl lost several pounds, from energy expended scratching.😯
