Listen up, motherfuckers, for I am an unmitigated delight.

It’s not that autistic people don’t know how to join a conversation.

It’s that people stop listening the moment we do.

We become background noise in our own lives.

Until someone else repeats what we've said - louder, safer, non-autistic.

Then it's "brilliant".

What a brilliant way to look at yourself!

hello Greta! I am working that out right now!
it's incredibly challenging but it's up to me to pull this off! I have always been in charge of moving.
I need a huge distraction to get motivated to finish the big stuff which is sorting out my now deceased mothers remaining possessions. 💔
emotional!

🌱 TecoMaria capensis
the cape honeysuckle flowering bush on my neighbor's side of the wall exhibiting vibrant red orange flowers contrasted against fluffy white clouds at magic hour-ish
Zone9B in the shadow of South Mountain Park
The image shows the Cape honeysuckle (Tecomaria capensis), a flowering shrub native to southern Africa.

This evergreen shrub has glossy, dark green leaves and bright orange-red, trumpet-shaped flowers that bloom in clusters.
The plant is known for attracting hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies.

aha-ha
We can be very funny but people have to listen to us!
I already know that I'm brilliant just not in a normal way.
I'm also not allowed to acknowledge that I know that I'm brilliant, because that would be arrogant and what an awful look!
I take great comfort in listening to Neurodivergent s🤪

🌱 I've less than 19mos to get my act together for the move out of this type of desert🏜️, prob into Zone10
and, given that BlueSky has dissolved into a gooey gossipy mess with the CEO I'm thoroughly disheartened with blogging unless I just need to hang with pocketfriends

If anyone’s struggled to keep up with my threads on why the genAI bubble
Is a bubble, here’s a simplified pictorial explanation, the plug is OpenAI and the sockets are Microsoft, Meta, Oracle, Nvidia, and AMD
A power strip with the plug end plugged in to one of the sockets

Official biopsy report just came through: tiny tumor is benign, HURRAY. Doctor told me it was unlikely to be malignant, but wanted to do a test to make sure. Huge thanks to the staff at @sunnybrookhsc.bsky.social.

ALTTEXT: Smallest Wild Cat Species on 🌍
Black-footed Cats (Felis nigripes) reacting to a human, in defensive stances.
Nocturnal South African
Despite their small size, they are known for having the highest hunting success rate of any cat species, leading to the nickname "the World's Deadliest Cat".

We are as hands-off as possible with our species in order to preserve their natural instincts. For black-footed cats, this instinct is immediate suspicion of humans, as demonstrated by their greeting hisses 😼

I fully remember wee Cindy!
a trauma🦙, brilliant Adultchild.
Speaking alone for myself? that Trauma ruined my entire damn life; it does not get to do that, now.
At my big age, I am calling my own shots which include being very short upon the internet with faceless entities, *sometimes human-like*.

Of course, there is a flip side to kindness!
I have not needed to be vicious in quite awhile.
but the degree that I can be as bottomlessly evil as anybody? it's rather scary and I'm not like to think about it.
*Here* is only a vague representation of myself using a text-based micro blogging app.👐

I bristle against all the writing rules but try to keep Orwell's in mind
*Never use a metaphor, simile, or other figure of speech which you are used to seeing in print.
Never use a long word where a short one will do.
If it is possible to cut a word out, always cut it out.
Never use the passive*

*you just realized*
it's a very confusing time
if I had these kind of resources 5 years ago?
it would shorten the process!
grateful that these resources exist!

Under $70
Not from Prime
Prime Sales if anything, remind me that theres a couple things on my long Household Wish List to keep an 👁️ out that I might finally snag.
I have refused to pay $100 for sheets FOREVER; I have time🕰️ to wait

This is true of me as well;
it seems an effort for people to consistently render honesty,
but it's also hard for them to be consistently kind.
I have no problem being honest and truthful, but it turns out folx don't actually appreciate unvarnished truth. Being polite and direct isnt appreciated.
