For obvious reasons I chose not to cycle in today. I think it’s clear to see from my morning pic which way the wind was coming from though.

Man who helped design breathalysers banned for drink driving: countytimes.co.uk/news/2480464... Given the amount of reporting Dr Richard Lacey, 70, of Kington, Herefordshire, probably wishes now he hadn't told the court "I helped design those".

Many cyclists use cameras to submit footage to the Police for driving that puts them in great danger. For the submission to be successful you not only need a clear video but a comprehensive statement.

Cyclists and pedestrians represent an underestimated group for the economic vitality of city centres.
A new national Dutch study reveals that, on a monthly basis, cyclists and pedestrians contribute about 25% more to total spending in centres than car users.

COURT RESULT: Punishment pass results in punishment. This driver decided, rather than using the empty lane 2, to overtake with about 50cm clearance (1/3rd the Highway Code recommended minimum distance at 30mph & under). Contested a £100 FPN - £398 in fines and 3 points #opclosepass
