really happy with how the moonstone on Aurora turned out and it was SUPER easy, so I made a tutorial for y'all <3
a coloring tutorial for moonstone and labradorite gemstones: at the top is a basic purple oval that says "Base layer" below it is the same shape, but variations of blue have been airbrushed over the purple color. beside it it says "new layer clipped to base layer" and a screenshot of what the layers and the option for clipping looks like. beside that are the colors used with the airbrush and beside them it says "airbrush 40 - 60 density". below that is the next level of the process where you add white over all over that using an airbursh. it officially looks like a moonstone. beside it it says "new layer clipped to base layer at the top" and a star which corresponds with the star on the screenshot of the layer order. beside that is a white color airbrushed with the text "white + airbrush on outside 60 density". below that is the example of the lines crossing the gem stone and then blurred slightly. there's text that says "airbrush 100 density + blur" below that is the same gemstone but the white is black, and greens and yellows have been added to make it a labradorite gemstone. beside it it says "change the white to black and add green and yellow for labradorite."
