Two wounded survivors trying to flip a loaded boat and continue their journey after being blown out of the water. Yeah sure 🤦‍♂️.

Excellent article. For years the Q I pose to Sask O&Gers is “why not improve our air quality by smartly managing a transitional mix of renewables and fossil fuels?”

This is a far easier discussion than declaring Armageddon and arguing for eliminating fossil fuels within an untenable timeframe.

And it isn’t even health care. What type of people want to govern (and they know they have the levers to stop this), but see no need to stop/prevent soulless reptiles from fleecing desperate, dying people?

The same people who go out of their way to attack trans kids with bogus legislation.

This is an example of how tribal politics really hurts us. I understand how freedumbers and libertarians would somehow try to polish this turd, but what about the SK cons who still have a shred of decency? I know a few. I would ask them: Is this really what you want re minimal govt regulation?

Definitely the way to go. The debate is how quickly.

All very true. The tentacles of petroleum are everywhere, but I would at least like to see an honest effort to smartly curtail the BURNING of fossil fuels. Climate change debates aside, it is hard to argue against simply trying to reduce how we pollute our world.

This is exactly the type of thing you WANT the govt to stop. It is very telling that they don’t criticize it, let alone try to shut it down (that would offend the freedumb gang). The freedumbers can say whatever they want about public health care challenges, but outright fraud isn’t one of them.

I have no idea what the govt’s rationale is for this. They hate public health care, but it is OK to be scammed privately?

A bit of critical thinking tells you that if if a legit successful treatment was developed for ALS, the developer would be very wealthy - and not operating out of Moose Jaw.

I’m with you on that. They just sit back and hope for public 💰 to take on the risk. Then they thank us by reaming us for their products.

Makes sense, neither are getting a pipeline built.

A lot of people talking a big game about something that - in the extremely unlikely circumstance it actually happens - will take many years to complete.

I’ll wait to clutch the pearls then, thank you very much.

So, AB somehow finds private investors, keeps public dollars out of this, AND they find a way to sell the benefits to BC and First Nations 🤔. That extremely unlikely outcome would satisfy: the feds, AB, BC, SK and BC First Nations.

If those stars actually aligned, I think I’d have to accept it.

Why? Because he threw Dani a very contentious bone? (she has to secure private investment, approval from the BC NDP govt, and sign-off from First Nations).

I’m not voting for the vile CPC or rudderless, unelectable NDP because PMMC said he’d support something that he knows won’t happen.
