Heretic Naval Raider

"The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere the ceremony of innocence is drowned..." - WB Yeats

Depicted here is an Anointed Raider, their armor doubles as a diving suit, allowing them to infiltrate coastal defences undetected.

Whenever I feel frustrated that my choices haven’t led to the change I’d hoped for, I remember there’s an alternate timeline where I did less. Where I didn’t show up, speak out, stand up, & that world is worse. We must measure our victories in small steps. A better world is still worth the effort.
Our world doesn’t end if we surpass 2, 2.5, or even 3°C, but it will steadily become a more dangerous and erratic place. Every 0.1°C remains worth fighting for—whether 2, 4, or a dozen years from now—because every bit of warming that nations pull together to prevent eases future suffering somewhere.
Trump’s decisive victory is a stunning setback for climate change. It squanders precious policy momentum and sets the world on a far more dangerous emissions trajectory.
