At last year’s Mariners Spring Training, Ichiro showed up unannounced, by himself & casually did his thing.
When I asked why he was there, a Mariners staffer shrugged: “Oh, he just shows up whenever he wants.”
There were maybe 3 people watching.

Every few weeks now, I cycle through a new, darker wave of grief about what Twitter dying actually means in a tangible sense. We’re losing a lot at a really fast rate.
I tried to play off the Elon ruining twitter thing as being funny, "let it burn" etc but it actually just fucking sucks and is sad. pre-Musk twitter was garbage but it was our garbage
