I like transit and urbanism, but not like *that*. Also like public education and public spaces.

Notably, he sees "having talent" as gatekeeping, but not "owning the means of production"

K. When you left the ellipsis at the end, I inferred you meant, "... all 'real' religions"

It's an odd example to choose. It's one of the most hierarchical religions

I get that. Also many are not

It’s very easy for Jews to go insular and insist that no one cares about our suffering and thus I must insist that we recognize that Ahmed al Ahmed not only cared, he put his life on the line and was shot twice for our safety.

If Dems were doing something to fight fascism, that's a slightly different story.

And it's not about purity or theory. It's about how the Dems aren't good at much except keeping their right wing in power

I think it's useful for "The Democrats". I don't think it's good for the country

This is the Chuck Schumer or Mary Landrieu or Joe Manchin problem
December 12, 2025 at 2:28 PM

These are things that were taken for granted until Reagan.
December 11, 2025 at 3:41 AM
Definitely should not. That is pretty anti-democratic and would definitely be abused by ruling elites. What there needs to be is a robust media environment and educational system which encourages critical thinking and liberal values. And more importantly, a system where everyone is empowered

I don't know what Lisa said here because she blocked me so I don't know how to respond. Not sure what's controversial here. Not saying Lander will do that, but it seems like a viable strategy

She blocked me for this
December 10, 2025 at 2:03 PM
Ah! You ARE saying it!

The way you lose votes is by not caring about your constituents or issues
