Those are the two exercises that have the *most* to do with psychology in that section. I was expecting some Freudian stuff, but so far ist mostly pretty generic stuff.

I guess I do not count as young, but one reason I am, very slowly, reading "Not the end of the world" is so I can answer these questions when my kids start asking them.

In my experience it's only Germans who clap. Germans also tend to still be into the whole tomato juice in airplanes thing, which otherwise seems to have died out.

You can't really be certain they are German until the plane lands and they applaud the captain for doing his/her job.

JEEA has some good stuff. I also like doi.org/10.1093/jeea...

They show that the suicides of prisoners in Italy are reactive to information shocks and thus rational.

This paper is 🤯, if you don't know it, have a look.

Post a favourite econ paper, I'll go first:

"Trade, Merchants and Lost Cities of the Bronze Age" by Barjamovic & co-authors.

Turns out you can do some pretty incredible stuff with an (almost) four thousand year old dataset!

I like many papers, but finding a forgotten city is hard to compete with.

If you want it to be more like a to-do list in calendar view, perhaps todoist.

How do you add Zoom calls to your *paper* journal? Do you literally write down the login information or how does this magic work?

In that case, Spark always looked good to me.
