Can I just say, Clare Armstrong is no Laura Tingle. And, because I'm an equal opportunity critic, Jacob Greber is no Laura Tingle either. Bring back Laura!

Maybe it's a coincidence but Leyton Hewitt, Ian Thorpe, Nova Peris and Dawn Fraser are clients of the PR company Markson Sparks, whose CEO is Max Markson.
It takes a lot of contacts and resources to organise 60 people at random. Just saying.

Copping lectures from DV abuser Grant Hackett on Royal Commissions to make him feel safe is the equivalent of getting nutritional advice from the Fat Arse Orange Orangutan down at Macca's. And we are supposed to be influenced by that serial moron and hate merchant Sam Newman? Yep, fuck off.

How in the goddamn fuck do we live in a world where 60 so-called “stars” who’ve never raised their voices (AFAWK) about the slaughter of ~380,000 children in Gaza are suddenly prepared to start yelling for a useless RC into nothing?

What in the FUCK are these arsewipes playing at?

Hey @albomp.bsky.social , are we “all the way with DJT”? Because I think we Australians are going to need a little reassurance from you that this is NOT your idea of a safe alliance either, and that being blu-tacked to a lunatic will not end well for us.
Thanks for your consideration.

It would be practically and legally impossible to hold a royal commission that goes anywhere near the actions or motivations of the accused killer, before his criminal proceedings are concluded, which could take years. That limitation would render the royal commission itself pointlessly premature.

Melbourne & Geelong facing likely water restrictions means Victorian councils should reject all new AI-fiddling & other private data centres which use vast amounts of water for no good reason. We need our trees & gardens.

How in the goddamn flying fuck do we live in a country where the murders of 15 people from one racial/religious group ONCE requires both a Royal Commission AND the deployment of the army but the murders of 80 women EVERY YEAR since time immemorial fucking doesn’t??

I feel like governments that approve data centres in a drought stricken continent and then impose water restrictions like a year later should be forced to work without pay

@abcnewsaustralia.bsky.social why did you go to Mike Pezzulo for comment on the need for a Royal Commission? He was sacked for good reason. His views on politics should never be sought.
