💥12 months ago Britain's last coal-fired power station, Ratcliffe-on-Soar in Nottinghamshire, shut down after 50 years powering the national grid. We can now confirm that C20's listing application for Ratcliffe's 8 cooling towers has been rejected by DCMS, while their demolition has been approved.

If Robert Jenrick wants white faces, maybe he could move to Northern Ireland where according to the 2021 Census, 96.6% of the population is white. Is this the whiteness he wants? Active paramilitary groups, sectarianism, low wages and dysfunctional politics?

The Basic Income for the Arts Scheme is €325 a week, similar to what they gave out during the pandemic. This is how much they've deemed one needs in order to live in Ireland. So why is disability benefit only €244? Why are disabled and sick people expected to live so far below the poverty line?
