After weeks of prepping for life stuff, it's finally an unclaimed weekend where I can study to retake the advanced certification exam.

In a discussion at Thanksgiving about neurodivergence/depression/etc having existed long before diagnosis and care for it, my mom asked me:
"What did people do about this in the past?"
I didn't mean to be sharp about it, but my mouth opened and the first thing that fell out was "They suffered."

For the past decade or so, I've stuck by a basic concept regarding gift-giving to my family for the holidays. "Everyone is getting graphic novels!" (Age and interest appropriate for each.)
It's really touching that my nephews are in their 20s and still looking forward to what I pick for them.
