How much work does misapplying the word 'dox' do in this whole ICE discourse? If they were just honest and used the normal IRL word 'identify' which lacks the negative connotations of stripping away the anonymity promised in certain online places, would this whole argument evaporate?
Tillis says he opposes ICE being barred from wearing masks: "I've seen people dox me. I've seen people take pictures and identify law enforcement officers and then put their families at risk. So, I think that's a step too far."

It’s a normal day, the kids are just up, still sleepy, eating their breakfast, break snacks in their backpacks, ready dressed for school or preschool. Mum goes out to warm up the car to take them. An ICE goon grabs her and she phones her friend to say please help my kids and tell them goodbye.
