I read a neighbor of his said that it's not him- based on a still shot from the video. Another neighbor said he was a loner and didn't interact with others, but walked his Chihuahua twice every day.

I have a feeling that Mamdani hated every minute of being in Trump's presence, but he wanted that Federal funding that Trump threatened to withhold if Mamdani won. He knows he has to play the game to some extent to stay afloat financially.
