After she went dark on AIS in Bautino/Kazakhstan two weeks ago, Russian gunrunner LAUGA is back on AIS and apperently on her way back north from the Caspian Sea. LAUGA just passed Volgograd.

Speculation: a system was prepared for covert AIS-spoofing in Baltic Sea, designed to operate with only slight increases in reports (can occur from natural causes, eg adjusted antenna) that would evade capture.
