No book is perfect. I completely understand that, but I hope people can see how much effort I put into this. I dreamed up this story for several years and worked on it since 2024. It's just hard when your first book, your baby, is prone to criticism, haha.

Hopefully overtime. I'll get used to this.

To get this thing published and how many times I had to change things because after six months, I didn't like how certain sections were written anymore. Yeah, it's not wonder I got sick over this for a time. It's nerve racking to figure this stuff out. That's why the break from Shamcrossed is needed

Point is, I guess I am very OCD about what I put out. If I'm not confident in a product. I'll pretty much shelve it unless I can fix the story so that when readers read it, it makes sense.

I was and still am confident about Shamcrossed, but with how many hurdles I had to jump through--

I got so sick over this. That I might have missed something, that something wasn't logistically correct be it through Matt's powers, for example. That it may have been the main cause of the virus I had that kept me bed ridden for several weeks. I might have been around sick people too, but still

And I will openly admit. Shamcrossed might have some problems continuity wise, and unfortunately. Without spending loads of money for someone to check it. Making sure everything was correct fell on my shoulders. I did pay one professional to go through it...it didn't end well...
