I thought you were special, I thought you should know
Fucking hell, that's ludicrous, it's not even new! My soft spot for Stade Brestois has cost me, it's just a pair of maillots and a scarf, next time I'll go to France and get them myself.

Oh this is like when us NHS staff were told we had an inflation busting pay rise of 5.5% when inflation peaked at 12%. Politicians have nothing but contempt for actual public servants.

I'm gonna use it to get some lunch.

They're just repeating what the papers and telly tell them

What is important is not the level of the overall "tax burden" (itself a loaded phrase), but where that tax burden lies, and what is important for our media and business elite is that it doesn't fall on them.

The road where my son lives has a Go Safe van on it a few times a month and I have written to them asking to do a session during morning rush hour, because that's when the problem seems worst.

FWIW I am very in favour of 20mph in residential areas but other impatient drivers are a nightmare. There is some enforcement though, which I really didn't expect when 20 was made default in Wales, so it's only a matter of time before people get a ticket and then think twice about speeding.

Instead they carried on through the red light and sped off. This was at 8.50am, near several schools. He could have killed a child, and for what. That van is very distinctive and if I see it again the driver will get a piece of my mind.

Then on the way to school with my son a Suzuki Carry van went to overtake me as we were approaching a pelican crossing with a red light and two cars waiting. Now I sped up to hold the van in the wrong lane, hoping to embarrass them into being stuck out there.

I hit the window as it went past and the driver stopped. I went across and yelled "my son lives on this road, as do lots of other children, fucking slow down". She said "why did you hit my car? that's a criminal offence", to which I replied "so is speeding". That shut her up.

Two cars passed me at what must have been nearly 40mph while I was getting out of my car outside my sons house, it's a residential road. As a third 4x4 came along just as fast I feinted to step out in front of it. The driver slowed but as I stepped back sped up again.

If the government is right that removing this cap at a cost of around £3bn will take 450,000 children out of poverty then they should have done it on day one, and all the shite we had last year about how ‘unaffordable’ it was to do this was clearly just fucking nonsense

Omg the drums on Metallica's Seek and Destroy sound incredible. Suddenly not regretting losing the old earbuds as much.

Yes that's a Richard Osman endorsement, because Jay and Mark are very normal people who happen to make good YouTube videos
