I'm not one to FBPE all over the place but £45 of customs charges on a £200 purchase from France is a bit steep! Its something I literally can't get in the UK. £12 of that is a Royal Mail handling fee, rip off Britain indeed.

Just cleared all of my belongings out of the Clio ready to scrap it, it's amazing what accumulates over five years. There were a lot of masks and bottles of alcohol gel, a legacy of doing Flex deliveries during COVID, but also £8.50 under the drivers seat, so totally worth doing.

Child benefit is something working people are entitled to, so the news channels sharing vox pops of people saying "I work hard, why should people get more money for doing nothing" is just pure consent manufacture and deliberately misleading to boot.

Did the tyres on my elephant bike, that I haven't ridden in ages, and they hold pressure! Now to take it out and figure out if she needs a service. She does need a new chain guard, the plastic one on there is broken and rubbish, but I'll be damned if I'm paying Pashley £50 for a new one.

Still can't get over the irony that Profit Pathology, a 180 page book, is £35+ everywhere but not available in a library. Instead I've bought Against Empire and Blackshirts and Reds, got a lot of reading to do now
