Despite having done English to O Level & A Level & having a fantastic English teacher, I have never read Charles Dickens. So, before The Book of Darkness & Light/Adam Z Robinson's performance of A Christmas Carol at The Carriageworks, I decided it must be read. So much humour! Not dry at all.

Cold, wet and miserable here in West Yorkshire today...this at least is an escape from the thought of housework!!! Maybe after the next story!

There is nothing more annoying than going to make a coffee only to have the machine say NO! Not until you've descaled me! So, instead of a coffee, it's taken 2 glasses of wine! Hey ho!
