I have a ex boyfriend who, when on holiday, would always send me into the cottage/ room etc first to check on spiders! I'd have to collect the poor thing and put it outside! Men!

George C Scott was excellent as Scrooge, but my favourite is with Alistair Simm, followed by the Muppets! Best theatre adaptation is Adam Z Robinson, Book of Darkness and Light.
