Why do musicians pre-release the last track from their upcoming albums?
I've started using a dictionary to help with my writing and it's already improving my vocabulary. Until now, writing has been like trying to plant seeds in sand. The journey of discovering the right words for the exact concept I'm thinking of feels like taking a superhero serum for the vocabulary.

Between work, gym, dinner, and early bedtime, it is hard to find time for creativity. All I managed today was a few minor adjustments to a doodle. Still I’m proud of how I used today. On the train I read more of this book I’m really enjoying and studied a bit as well.

Between work, gym, dinner, and early bedtime, it is hard to find time for creativity. All I managed today was a few minor adjustments to a doodle. Still I’m proud of how I used today. On the train I read more of this book I’m really enjoying and studied a bit as well.

So so true. Once I went to a particular suburb my story was set in to get to know the place. Now when I visit its local mall I like to think somewhere inside is my protagonist just going about her life.
Seems more promising than "there was an em dash it must be fake!"
And yeah, I might not be able to remember every detail about the stuff I've written, owing to my moth-brained memory, but you risk me launching into a loving 6 hour presentation if you ask me questions about a scene or character.
