I genuinely miss when computer rendering had enough of an aesthetic in and of itself that you could even MAKE something like Reboot.
A TV show set in a computer would just look like any other TV show now!

The weirdest instance of this to me was when Enterprise did an episode set on a mostly-abandoned Klingon ship, and has a tense, dark scene where the crew discovers the mess hall.

Genuinely, I don't even know what Discord thinks its age verification is protecting teens from outside of 'seeing boobs'.
Everyone should be able to see boobs if they want, and it's terrible that Discord has decided I can't without them seeing ID, but personally, I can live without seeing boobs.

Seriously, Discord's restrictions if they don't think you're an adult are:
-You don't get to see content/channels flagged as 'adult'.
-You can't use Stages, a feature I've never heard of.
-Message/friend requests from strangers are in a separate feed, which I thought was how the app worked anyway.

Hilariously, we didn't get an update on that when they did this in Australia, because Discord's age restrictions are kinda impotent and most people didn't bother.

I believe the planned ending to the original Muppet Show's pilot was to end with the muppets dancing, and to then pan back to reveal the puppeteers ALSO dancing.
Deciding not to do that was maybe the most impactful single decision they made. That ending would make for a whole different dynamic.

But even then, you hit the problem that Baldur's Gate fans are much more character-driven than Fallout's. They wanna see their guys and girls more than the setting.

Oh, most Frontlines are 20 minutes. Seal Rock is just unbalanced as everloving fuck, so sometimes one team gets an easy shot at 70% of the nodes and can run away with it.

The FF MtG set had a bonus sheet that was all stuff like this, and it's really swing-y how good it looks.
Sometimes that art is the draw, and you get, like, a gorgeous old Amano art from the 90s! ...and sometimes it's a poorly centered render from a PS1 game.
