Linux Mint replaces it. Future book design work will be using Scribus, Graphics work using Gimp. I have Filemaker running (Wine) for data and bookkeeping. I will miss Affinity Publishing a bit (will be working on getting it running under Wine).

I think this article just about nails it. Microsoft has no way forward for windows and is floundering, but needs to show investors it is still growing and increasing profits.
