Drama, betrayal and hurt seem to be the running theme of the last few days but I just want to urge everyone to hold strong and never stop being their real selves, as it's all we have in the end. I'll never be any less real.

This Winsday I once again would like to celebrate everyone’s victories, big or small. What’s something you’ve all accomplished over the past week?
Me?

I've loved the Ys series since the first game on PC Engine and while I've become a bit disenchanted with it since Ys VIII due to its shift in style and gameplay, Ys Seven seemed to hold onto what I loved about the series while feeling just new enough to keep it fresh.

The Doom series needs no introduction to any fans of the FPS genre and I've devoted so many hours to the classics and the thousands of mods out there, yet Doom 64 always stood out to me for its focus on the horror aspect of the series and it melds so well with its frantic hellish action.

I've always been a fan of the shmup genre since the NES days of Gradius and Lifeforce, but R-type has always held a special place in my heart for its unique gameplay style and its deceptively deep lore and Delta is, in my opinion, the pinnacle of the series.

This Twosday I want to peck away at the mountainous haystack that is my boundless curiosity and ask what two sequels to movies/games/etc would you say are your favorites in media?

For Winsday this week, I want to know everyone's latest victory. Even if your last one was days or weeks ago, let's hold onto and celebrate those little moments where we pushed back against the uncaring cosmos.

Sunday should be Funday and Funday should be full of fun to prep you for the week ahead. Whip out your favorite game or dive into those hobbies, and put the Sun in Sunday; never lose your inner shine!
