@smerconish.bsky.social - Navarro said to you today he can guarantee a positive economic turn at some point. Does that mean he will guarantee coverage of losses? Hmmmm. Let’s hold him to it. Otherwise tell him to shut up if he’s not serious.

Exclusive: Federal workers have filed an emergency motion requesting a restraining order to disconnect the DOGE server that's being used to conduct Trump's "deferred resignation program." The workers had previously accused DOGE of illegally bypassing a mandated privacy audit.

Scoop: Elon's DOGE govt takeover is splintering Trump's inner circle.

More in here on the DOGE briefings within the WH, where there are scant details on how regularly they occur beyond daily "as needed," per a senior WH official. My latest in @wired.com: www.wired.com/story/trump-...

New! My colleagues found that one of DOGE’s young workers with access to sensitive data had sketchy connections to hacker groups and, according to experts, would likely never have passed a background check.

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

I think it should be made clear at this point: If you're a federal employee, you should consider your work devices bugged. If you've logged into personal stuff on those devices, you should consider suspending or deleting the accounts you accessed.

Congressional bathroom history: There's long been a members-only men's room just off the House Chamber, in the Speaker's Lobby. But until not too long ago, women members had to walk about halfway across the House side of the Capitol. www.advocate.com/politics/con...
Congress has always been hostile to women trying to use the bathroom
Nancy Mace’s proposal to cut bathroom access for trans women in the Capitol is the latest in the building’s long history of excluding women lawmakers.
